LAVENHAM ROAD, SW15 5EP

While we take great joy in each and every one of our projects, there are some that are simply more satisfying than others. Such was the case with the house at Lavendham Road. An incredible undertaking, with a refurbishment of the entire house, this project took us a lot of energy, but the results were 100% worth it.

The main focus of our works for this project was the rear extension. Our goal was to create a sun-drenched dining space that would open up nicely to the new garden patio area (which we’re also responsible for). To achieve this, we added skylights and stripped the ceiling to expose the beams of the roof. This helped make the room seem bigger, while also drawing attention to the large doors and windows connecting to the garden. One of the wall had its bricks completely exposed, which helped add some nice flavour to truly complete this room.

Other operations included modifying the loft, so as to allow for a new insulation systems. The plumbing and electrical installations were replaced throughout the house, with new switches and dimmers added. The entire house was redecorated, with additional joinery elements provided by us.
